Oh so anti-inflammatory!!!

This tropical smoothie is filled with SO many health benefits, and is so so delicious. Read below for the recipe and nutrition information!

  1. In your favorite blender (mine is the Magic Bullet or Ninja), blend all ingredients until smooth. Add additional liquid or ice if desired!

This smoothie is PACKED with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and overall hydration!

  • Chia seeds are highly nutritious! They are an excellent source of fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, thiamin, niacin, and healthy fats (polyunsaturated fat & monounsaturated fat: anti-inflammatory omega-3s and alpha-linolenic acid)! Chia seeds are also loaded with antioxidants, which have protective properties for the heart, liver, and cells. They even have anticancer properties! With their extensive list of nutrients, chia seeds are extremely heart-healthy and good for our bones!

  • Turmeric: turmeric has COUNTLESS benefits for your body & brain! Turmeric contains Curcumin, which has medicinal properties and is SO anti-inflammatory. Curcumin is best absorbed with a pinch of black pepper along with it, so don't be afraid to add that in! It also has huge anti-oxidative properties, is great for brain health, is amazing for the heart, and may be linked to improvements in arthritis and preventative measures for Alzheimer's disease.

  • Ginger: ginger is loaded with antioxidants and is amazing for increasing blood circulation and antiseptic properties! It's also great for digestion and helps to relieve upset stomach. Ginger is great for your mood, as well!! It increases serotonin and dopamine levels, and can provide benefits for anxiety, depression, and dementia.
